On 6/1/09 Jerry said... I took my daughter, Lesli, to a Dr. Chander on Eastern and Harmon on Thursday, May 28, 2009, for a physical. I paid a $200 deposit up front. She was in and out in 10 minutes and filled out a medical history AFTER she saw Dr. Chander. The receptionist then told me there was an additional $100 charge. I asked but they could not provide details of the charges. They told me to go to medical records to get that information. Medical records told me to fill that Lesli would have to sign a release form and show a picture I. D. Funny thing the doctors office didn't ask for I. D., just money. On Friday I check my bank account and find that a $200 and a $300 transaction was on my bankcard. I called the business office for SMA on Monday, June 1, 2009 and was informed that i had to bring a bank printout to recover the bogus charges. I immediately called my bank and disputed the over charge and that is pending. If I go to SMA ever again and there is an up charge I will not pay unless they provide me with details for services rendered. just another big company trying to take advantage of the little guy.
